Are you Drinking Enough Water?

Your body is the greatest piece of machinery in the world. If cut, it heals itself. It makes new cells to replace the old. The wonders go on and on. We have 6 beautiful grandchildren at present, and in the next few months they'll be another adorable baby added to our growing family. Just looking at a our newborn grandchildren, puts me in awe at the miracle of which we are.

You know a mechanic will take great care in making sure the fuel he/she puts into an engine is the best so it runs properly. You put enough oil in the crank case so your car will perform well. You wouldn't drive without transmission fluid. And, we can't go anywhere without gas in the tank.

Same principal is true with our bodies. We have to make sure we put the right things in to it so that it runs well and eliminates waste material so it doesn't get clogged up and refuse to work properly; just like a car. One of those things is water. To the right, you'll view the new food pyramid. At the top is pure water!
Our bodies are over 70% water. Our brain is 85% water! Doesn't it make sense then to put the best water and enough water into your body? Visit the web site below, and request the free eBook. It's nineteen pages of great information. You won't get spammed. I'm the only one to get your information, and I promise I will never share or sell it.
Till next time, have a great day!

To your health,
Stephen

What's in Your Bottled Water?

There's a great article in the February issue of Reader's Digest on the hazards of drinking bottled water."Chemicals, contaminants, pollution, price: New Reasons to Rethink What you Drink." I just had to share this with you.

Here's just one quote: Labels can be misleading... In one notorious case, water coming from a well located near a hazardous waste site was sold to many bottlers. At least one of these companies labeled its product "spring Water." In another case.
H2O, sold as "pure glacier water" came from a "public water system in Alaska."

"In 1999 the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) tested more than 1,000 bottles of 103 brands of water... At least one sample of a third of the brands contained bacteria or chemical contaminants, including carcinogens, in levels exceeding state or inductry standards." Since that time, the industry has not made an major changes, so the risks are most likely still there.

"The NRDC found samples of two brands were contaminated with phalates... one case exceeding EPA standards for tap water." Phalates are endocrine disrupters, "which means they block or mimic hormones, affecting the body's normal functions. And the effects of exposure to the widespread chemicals may add up." Imagine, bottled water can have all that and is usually very acidic, too, which we can show people.

More next time on the pollutants in the water and how they affect us.

Any questions, contact us at steve@be-alkaline.com . We'll be ahppy to answer them.

P.S. For a visual demonstration on just how acidic what you drink is, please go to our website, www.be-alkaline.com and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on demo. Most everything from energy drinks, sports drinks, to Bottled Waters, especially those that are reverse osmosis, are acidic. This is so important to know for your health. Add to the chemicals in the water, the acidic content of the bottled water, and that is what you are paying for. Take care, and "rethink what you drink!"
